TEAM RACES.
If we get enough interest, we will hold a separate team competition for triathlon clubs and coaching crews. Team racing is all about camaraderie.
Rather than racing alone, you also race as a team and as a reward, the team captain gets free entry to all races.
This offer is open to - triathlon clubs and also coaches and their crew.
Here is what is required to be part of the team challenge. A team can have as many members as you like - however, the minimum is as follows:
· One junior boy and one junior girl - under 18.
· Two senior men - 18 to 40.
· Two senior women - 18 to 40.
· One veteran man - 40+.
· One veteran woman - 40+.
EXAMPLE
Where each member places overall in each event equals the points your team receives. The top placings in each category is how we work out the team points. So for example, here are the top placings for your team.
- senior men places 2nd and 10th
- senior women 4 and 12th.
- veteran man - 20th
- veteran woman - 12th
- junior boy - 6th
- junior girl 7th
2+10+4+12+20+12+6+7= 73 points.
Note. "Ring ins" must be "carded" members of their club or coaching crew.
